04/09/2010 - The German Retriever Club Show in Lich

I had the honour of judging the German Retriever Club Show Speciality in Lich, which seemed a beautiful town although I did not see much of it! My Best of Breed was an 8 year old bitch, Calebri's Coco Beautyfield Mousse (Almanza Chasing the Rainbows x Calebri's Marie-Jose Perec) and the Best Male was Classic Worker's Action (Miss Mallorys Push to Play x Gracehunters Born to Please). The overall quality of the dogs was very good with some high class visitors from Switzerland and Luxembourg. It was good to judge Starworkers Point of View (Bullet Deep Soul x Starworkers Daily News) and give him the junior class, as I had been so impressed with his sister, Starworkers Piece of Cake, when I judged her in Denmark and awarded her best puppy.
