06/04/08 The snow came and we went home!
Mary the breeder of the Marsalland girls was driving us all to the Flatcoated Retriever Society Championship show, but we got half way and the snow came down and the motorways were treacherous, with accidents happening in front of us and we decided it was time for us to "grow up" and be responsible and return home to our loved ones! The dogs could not believe they had spent three hours in the car only to arrive back where they had set out from without having a play, especially for Ravishing Ruby who was a year old today - not much of a birthday until she got home to play in the snow!
Fortunately, Pamela Stanley very sensibly went to Malven the day before and was able to show her Brookcrane Broadway Melody at Hallbent, who is a Bramatha Easter Rumour daughter. Congratulations to them on winning Graduate and Post Graduate.
